A follow-up meeting to plan for future involvement of ATLAS-Canada groups in the pixel detector project was held at the Laboratory for Nuclear Science at the University of Montreal on May 27, 1999. The agenda of the meeting is shown below along with an electronic record of the talks (where available).
Attendees were : Azuelos (Montreal), Corriveau (McGill), Hamel (Montreal), Leroy (Montreal), Martin (Montreal) Ragan (McGill), Stairs (McGill), Trischuk (Toronto).
The morning session was devoted to an overview of the current status of the ATLAS Pixel project as well as a description and discussion of the projects the Canadian group might take on. We also discussed the possible involvement of members of McGill Unversity in this effort.
The afternoon session was devoted to a detailed discussion how to proceed with drafting a grant request and when and where to present it to our colleagues in ATLAS-Canada.
