Banquet

The banquet will be held on Tuesday evening, August 2nd, 2005, in the CN Tower, the world's tallest building (553 metres or 1815 feet). There will be a reception in the Horizons Room at 6:30pm with drinks and hors d'ouvres, followed by dinner in the 360 Restaurant at 7:30pm.

The menu for the dinner is below. Main course selections need to be made well in advance (by July 15th) - send mail with your selection to Leslie Groer.

Starter:
Hearts of Romaine with garlic croutons, crisp pancetta*, parmesan cheese and caesar vinaigrette

Main:
Choice of

- 1 -
Maple-glazed boneless half chicken with whole grain mustard, mashed potatoes, thyme infused jus, and seasonal accompaniments

or

- 2 -
Grilled filet of Atlantic salmon with fresh snipped chives, tomato and caper beurre blanc, and seasonal accompaniments

or

- 3 -
Vegetarian option (not pre-set)

Dessert:
Dark Chocolate tower with raspberry coulis and seasonal fruits

Wine, Coffee and Tea

* = the pancetta (ham) can optionally be left off the salad. If you wish to have a pancetta-free salad please specify this when indicating your choice of main dish.
