The internal matrix of the module was stacked by alternating rows of Cu tubes with layers of W slugs, starting at the bottom of the module and working upwards. Approximately 200,000 W slugs and 2550 Cu tubes make up the matrix. The large quantity of slugs were stacked with the assistance of a vibrating bowl feeding a flexible tube (see Tooling pictures)..
