CDF Toronto

Welcome to the CDF group home page at the University of Toronto. Our group belongs to the CDF collaboration, which carries out high-energy physics research using the CDF II detector at the Fermilab Tevatron. The Tevatron is a 2 TeV proton-antiproton collider located at Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory in Batavia IL, USA. CDF II is taking data and the first physics results were presented in July 2002 at the ICHEP conference in Amsterdam.

Within Canada, we have collaborators at the University of Alberta in Edmonton, as well as at McGill University in Montreal. See a picture of Canadian CDF collaborators, taken at last years CDF Canada meeting.
