Laptops

Wireless 802.11b will be provided on Sunday afternoon in the Physics building and wireless 802.11b/g will be provided at the Bahen centre Monday through Wednesday, during the workshop hours only. The SSID for the access points will be handed out on site. There is no need to register your laptop MAC address or get user accounts.

There will be limited power distributed thoughout the Bahen centre lecture hall, so please accommodate your colleagues by sharing power outlets.

There will be no other facilities provided for online or computing access.

Note that the network facilities for the workshop have been provided outside the regular university campus wide network (UTORcwn) service but there may be some useful setup information or hints if you are having trouble configuring your wireless access.
